Map Collections

MAP COLLECTIONS

The Map Collections consist of maps that are not part of a record group or a manuscript collection. This group is presently composed of three sets of map donations (the Charles M. Bennett and Loraine Bennett Rae Map Collection; the Gordon Edwards Digital Map Collection; and the Betty Jane Hylton Map Collection) and a few miscellaneous maps purchased by the Friends of the Washington County Archives. The maps are primarily United States Geological Survey topographic quadrangle maps along with various miscellaneous maps related principally to Washington County and Tennessee.
