George Gray

Entry made on this property on 23 May 1775.  It is described as “land on Cedar Creek.”
Gray made entry and claimed two pieces of property as part of the Watauga Purchase on 27 Nov 1775. 
He was issued land grant # 318 for 399 acres on 24 Oct 1782  and land grant #179 for 489 acres on 24 Oct 1782. 
A patent was granted to Gray, Deed Book A, p. 23 – 24 on 27 Nov 1775 (470 acres)

Entry # 866 on 30 Dec 1779 for 500 acres indicates it includes the plantation where s^d George Gray now lives.
